We will be posting all squares made for the afghan that we’re making in loving memory of Rodger Swan.  When we receive your contributions, we’ll post them, along with your name.  Once the project is complete we’ll post photos of that as well.

More Info on the Memorial Afghan

Ok everyone, here is some more information. We are going to make 2 afghans, one for Rodger’s family and one for Rebecca. If you want to contribute we are taking any squares, knit, crocheted, or sewn. Feel free to make as many as you like, just send double whatever you make. We’re trying to keep it in the 8″,9″ or 10″ size range. Some of Rodgers favorite things were: the color Brown, Halloween, David Bowie, Japanese stuff, Jo Bros, Elton John and other flambouyant pop stars, Woody Allen, and Sweaters, you can work in these ideas or your own into the squares. To send you square just email me kcmakas@gmail.com and I’ll send you the address.  Thank you everyone for coming together to create these afghans for the Swan Family and Rebecca.

February Duel

Hello everyone, sad news for the duellers, Becky’s boyfriend, Rodger Swan, died suddenly Tuesday night. In memory of Rodger the February duel will not be a duel but a collaborative effort amongst all our knitting friends. Everyone is asked to knit or crochet a square or squares in memory of Rodger to put together into a memory blanket.
We have not decided the size yet, but if you want to do this comment and we’ll figure out the size of the squares based on how many people decide to knit in.
